  7. This font is FranzKafka, formerly FKafka. The reason I am
  8. re-posting it is because I realized that the baseline 
  9. position of all the characters is incorrect; thus dropcaps
  10. won't work properly. FranzKafka, this font, corrects that problem.
  11. Also, I have tweaked it some more, fixed a few style problems,
  12. etc. This was in response to various people writing me telling me
  13. the mac version had problems. I went back to the source files, and
  14. realized that there were errors. This and its companion mac version
  15. are the fixes.

  17. FranzKafka, if you don't have it already, is described by me and
  18. a few other people as "bloody scratch". Imagine what someone
  19. might scrawl into a wall with his or her dying hand. Thus, FranzKafka.
  20. If you don't like that description, then imagine letters cut out
  21. of linoleum blocks. All of this was inspired by reading _The_Trial_,
  22. and thus is so named.

  24. This font is being distributed as postcardware. If you use it (hey,
  25. even if you *don't* use it!), then send me a postcard from wherever
  26. you are. For the first version, I actually got a postcard from
  27. Prauge! Donations of money and equipment are *always* accepted, but
  28. the chances of that happening seem to occur only in my dreams.
